Washtech Cleans Up with
Sage
MAS 90
As
a distributor of vehicle wash systems, equipment and

Washtech appreciated the
ease of use of
Sage
BusinessWorks but began encountering
limitations as their customer base expanded. As the company
grew, they faced an enormous volume of invoices and
complicated inventory requirements. They desired a robust

module provided them with the ability to compile and
publish income statements on a monthly, quarterly and
annual basis; or for any date range they may choose. They
now have quick access to historical data and concise reports
outlining critical data.
Sage
MAS 90 stores information for up to
nine years. The Accounts Payable module maintains complete
vendor information and flexibility with manual and automatic
invoice selection. This module saves time for Washtech by
distributing invoices to multiple accounts or departments
and by defining recurring invoices that post automatically.
It also provides them
with full bank reconciliation that supports multiple
transaction types, including deposits, charges, credit,
withdrawals and transfers.
Inventory control is
paramount for any distributor. The Inventory
Management module gave Washtech
full inventory tracking capability, vendor transaction
history, on-hand parts and on-order quantities. Combined
with the Purchase Order modules, Washtech has quick and easy
access to vital information. In addition to keeping track of
receipts, issues and adjustments; it maintains concise
details for parts, serial numbers and locations.
The inventory information
and delivery statistics proved to be more efficient for them
too. Because all of the modules function in a similar manner
with seamless integration, the system was easy to learn for
Gianakos and his staff.
